Hello! My name is Julie, and this is my art.
I’ve called Oregon home from the very first breath. While growing up, I’ve quickly developed a passion for the outdoors and it’s wonders. I began with an interest in videography at a very young age, before moving on into still photography primarily landscapes and the outdoors in general roughly at the age of 15-16.
This passion grew exponentially between the ages of 18 and 21. Taking part in fire recovery work in the aftermath of the Eagle Creek Fire of 2017. Witnessing the re-growth had completely changed my thought process on how to best help the environment. Fast forward to today, I’ve been a landscape photographer for well over 10 years, and new opportunities are appearing.
I’ve had a troubled past. Dealing with PTSD has been a struggle. The outdoors, and photography had played a major role into where I am today.
I see photography as a powerful tool to help with conservation and intend to put it to good use.
